This website is operated by AsbestosSurveyFinder (asbestossurveyfinder.co.uk), a UK-based directory of UKAS-accredited asbestos inspection bodies. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this site.

2. Firm listing data

Firm profiles listed on this site are sourced from the UKAS public register of accredited inspection bodies, which is freely available to the public. We may supplement this with publicly available information such as Google ratings, website addresses, and contact details.

If you represent a listed firm and wish to update, correct, or remove your listing, please contact us at privacy@asbestossurveyfinder.co.uk and we will action your request promptly.

3. What data we collect

We collect the following categories of data:

• Usage data — pages visited, time on site, referring website, browser type, device type, and approximate location (country/city level). This is collected via Fathom Analytics, which is cookieless and privacy-friendly.
• Enquiry data — if you submit a listing claim form, we collect your name, email address, company name, and UKAS accreditation number. This is used solely to process your claim.
• Server logs — our hosting provider automatically records IP addresses and request data for security and operational purposes. These logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days.

We do not collect payment details, sell personal data to third parties, or require you to create an account to use this site.

4. Cookies

This site does not use tracking cookies. We use Fathom Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and is fully compliant with GDPR, PECR, CCPA, and ePrivacy. No consent banner is required.
